What a Microsite Is, and When It Beats One More Page
A microsite is a focused website with its own domain that covers one job well, for example drain cleaning in Sandy or spinal decompression in Salt Lake City. It sits beside your main website, not inside it.
A new page on your main site is usually the cheaper first move, and we will tell you when it is enough. A microsite earns its place when your main site cannot carry the topic: a city you serve but do not rank in, one high-value service buried among ten others, a new service line with its own audience, or a market you want to test before you commit.
The rule we follow: a microsite gets its own brand, with its own name, colors and voice, and a clear "in partnership with" line back to your business. A copy of your main site on a second domain helps nobody.
